2022 Ward Warriors Annual Golf Tournament

August 24, 2022 – It was a beautiful, sunny, summer day in Wellsboro, PA when the Ward Warriors Annual Golf Tournament took place at  Tyoga Country Club . A total of 27 different groups ventured out to the beautiful Pennsylvania mountains to participate, and collectively helped raise $16,000 (!!) towards the Ward Warriors American Cancer Society (“ACS”) Relay for Life annual contribution goal. Michelle Moffett, Senior Cost Accountant at Ward Manufacturing (“Ward”) and Ward Warriors group leader, explains that the funds raised for the ACS not only go towards cancer research, they also help provide helpful programs, such as transportation, lodging, emotional support, and many other services to those individuals and families undergoing cancer treatments.

The First Citizen’s Bank teams de-throned our President & CEO, Pete Guidi, from his long-standing winning streak (all in good fun, of course), and the Ward Manufacturing Argyled team won the trophy for most unique. Their reward was a beautiful trophy designed and assembled by Kevin McCracken (Ward Industrial Engineer) and Ashley Andrus (Ward Product Engineer), and was made entirely of Ward products (pipe fittings, CSST, etc.).

A fun time was had by all. We look forward to doing it all over again next year! Thank you for the generosity of every participant. Your contributions mean so much!
